About Me

Welcome – my name is Petar Rodic and I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), working within their ethical standards.

I believe that everyone, with the right kind of support, has the potential to master their life struggles or mental health problems, despite what a person is facing or how they may be feeling.

I fully understand that different people have different needs so therefore I work in a way that best suits my clients and offer an integrative approach to counselling. Integrative counselling means that I am able to use a range of techniques from different modalities or theories in my work with clients. My approach has evolved to focus on Psychodynamic, Person-centred and Existential-Transpersonal theories as I believe these are best suited to my specialisms in the areas of addiction and existential life questions (the deeper meaning of life). I also believe that transference and counter-transference is very important, that is, how a client brings the past into a session and re-experiences it in the present.
